In my travels for work and vacation, I have come across several wonderful restaurants that have gluten-free menus or are great at making gluten free accommodations. I wanted to share these with you, in case you find yourself in the area.
The following chain restaurants are gluten-free friendly. I look for them when I travel.
bd's Mongolian Grill
Ft. Meyers Area
Timber’s Restaurant (Sanibel)
Bonefish Grill (Sarasota)
Crow’s Nest (Venice)
Madfish Grill (Sarasota)
Walt Disney World
All restaurants and counter services are great. At sit down restaurants the chef will come out and talk to you and tell you everything you can eat (which is a ton). Counter services have a gluten free menu you can order from. Also many of the Disney resorts have gluten free Mickey Waffles available upon request.
Weber Grill (Schaumburg & Lombard)
Kona Grill (Troy)
Noodles and Co. (Troy)
The Mustard Seed (Solon)
The Soup Pot (Solon)
Jason’s Deli (Grandview Heights)
Cross Roads Bar & Grill (Bellevue)
Canyon’s Restaurant (Redmond)
Another option I use while traveling is an app called "Find Me Gluten Free." This helps me if I haven't done research a head of time and need to find a place to eat. Not all restaurants are included on the app, but sometimes it is nice to have a place to start.
